After a few more phone calls I was contacted by email in which Topps customer service said that the adhesives shelf life expired the day after I had used it so technically it would have still been in date and useable I had installed the tiles incorrectly even though I do tiling on a regular basis and never had a problem with them adhering to the wall before they couldnt identify the SBR.

Disgusting customer service tried to buy tiles that were marked down in price but when I went to pay the salesman said that although the price was clearly marked it must have been a human error and refused to sell the tiles at that price I contacted topps tiles and I was told it was down to the individual stores discretion whether the honoured the price needless to say I wont be. All I get are excuses from Topps customer service. They also refunded me for the unused underlay and flooring with no quibbles.
